Playtech’s software has been tested by one of the most reputable laboratories in the gaming industry, Gaming Laboratories International (hereinafter referred to as "GLI"). GLI® is the largest global network dedicated to providing independent testing and evaluation services for all types of gaming technology. It specializes in functionality and compliance assessments for a wide range of gaming machines, software, systems, and peripheral equipment. GLI ensures the independent testing and auditing of electronic gaming products and certifies gaming products based on the testing, inspection, and compliance determinations conducted by its laboratories.
Playtech products have been tested, audited, and certified by GLI for compliance with international GLI Standards. GLI has completed the evaluation of the random number generator (RNG) used in Playtech Poker, which was provided by Playtech. Playtech submitted the necessary materials to GLI for an analysis of the random number generator in Playtech Poker. The scope of this analysis included verifying the Playtech software, source code, and data analysis. The RNG was tested and approved for its ability to generate random outcomes for Poker games.
As a result, the GLI Poker RNG test and the Playtech certification confirm that the Poker RNG is a cryptographically strong RNG (CSRNG) with no background cycles. According to GLI, the Playtech Poker RNG meets fairness and randomness requirements based on the technical standards and regulations of certain EU and non-EU countries.
